Biopolítica e novas tecnologias: o discurso do ódio na Internet como mecanismo de controle social

Resumo
O presente artigo tem por objeto analisar como os mecanismos de controle, surgidos com a biopolítica em substituição ao poder soberano, têm sido utilizados para promover o discurso de ódio na Internet, em especial nas redes sociais, como forma de promover o controle da vida das pessoas. Serão apresentadas considerações sobre a criação da Internet e das redes sociais, bem como será analisada a atual situação, na qual as leis vigentes não estão sendo eficazes para reprimir o discurso de ódio que, mais do que suscitar uma resistência legítima, tem alimentado novos discursos de ódio. Por fim, exploram-se as relações entre a biopolítica e a evolução tecnológica, bem como a possibilidade do combate pela multidão da potencialização dos efeitos lesivos do discurso do ódio na Internet, de forma a permitir que a própria vida possa assumir o papel de resistência. O trabalho foi desenvolvido com base no método hipotético-dedutivo.

BIOPOLYTICS AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES: THE INTERNET HATE SPEECH AS A SOCIAL CONTROL MECHANISM
ABSTRACT: The aim of this article is to analyze how the control mechanisms that have emerged with biopolitics, replacing sovereign power, have been used to promote hate speech on the Internet, especially in social networks, as a way to promote life control of people. Considerations are presented on the creation of the Internet and social networks, as well as the current situation, in which current laws are not being effective in repressing the hate speech, which, rather than provoking legitimate resistance, has fueled new discourses of hate. Finally, the relationship between biopolitics and technological evolution is exposed, and how the potentialization of the harmful effects of hate speech on the Internet can be fought by the crowd, allowing life itself to play a role of resistance. The work was based on a hypothetical-deductive method.
