Credential pickup for P20 journalists begins on November 4
The Chamber of Deputies and the Federal Senate inform accredited press professionals covering the 10th G20 Parliamentary Leaders’ Summit (P20) that credential pickup will take place on November 4 from 2 PM to 6 PM, and on November 5 and 6 from 9 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM, next to the entrance of Annex II of the Chamber (entry via Via S2).
Individual pickup can be made by presenting an identification document. A media outlet may send a representative, properly identified by the company, to collect all credentials.
Event Access
Press professionals will access the P20 Summit days through Annex II of the Chamber and Annex 2 of the Senate during the following hours:
- On November 6 (Wednesday): from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM; and from 5 PM to 6 PM.
- On November 7 (Thursday): from 7 AM to 8 AM; from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM; and from 4 PM to 5 PM.
- On November 8 (Friday): from 7 AM to 8 AM.
Note: Access to the Chamber of Deputies plenary will not be permitted.
Connectivity
Press professionals will have several options to access the wifi signal: the CD Visitor network, which requires entering a name, phone number, and CPF (for Brazilians); or name and passport number (for foreigners); the P20_Press network, which will be available to all accredited press members, requiring authentication using the same credentials as in the G20 system; as well as private networks for each professional, which will not be blocked.
Workspaces
The press will have several spaces for covering the P20 Summit: the White (Chapelaria), Black, and Green Halls, the gallery of the Chamber of Deputies plenary (images only), the Press Committees of the Chamber and Senate, and four other plenaries—two in the Chamber's committee corridor and two in the Nilo Coelho Wing of the Senate (Rooms 2 and 6). These locations will have space for press conferences and screens displaying the P20 Summit meetings.
Interviews
Given prior agreements with the delegations attending the Summit, direct approaches to parliamentarians should be avoided. Any requests for interviews must be made in advance to the event’s Press Office by sending a request to the email: press.p20@cn.leg.br.
